THCa is the raw, non-intoxicating precursor found in the live plant. When heated (smoked, vaped, or cooked), it converts to Delta-9 THC through decarboxylation — so heated THCa products are intoxicating. Our products are sold as hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill because they test at or below 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight in their raw form.

Yes, under the 2018 Farm Bill definition that applies until December 11, 2026: all our flower, concentrates and hash test at or below 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight in their raw state, and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is published for every product. Yes. Every cultivar we sell is genetically tested against reference profiles for the named strain before it's listed, so the flower you receive is the strain on the label — not a re-labeled substitute. Our DNA-Verified Strains page explains how it works.

They answer different questions. A COA from a third-party lab measures chemistry — THCa, Delta-9 THC, terpenes and contaminant screens. DNA verification confirms identity — that the plant is genetically the strain named on the label. Two different strains can have similar COAs, which is why we require both before a strain goes on sale.

Store in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool dry place. Ideal temperature is 60–70°F. Properly stored flower retains potency and terpenes for several months. Avoid refrigerators — humidity fluctuations degrade quality.

Terpenes are aromatic compounds produced alongside cannabinoids in the trichome. They shape the smell, flavor, and — through the "entourage effect" — the overall experience. Two strains with identical THC can feel completely different based on their terpene profiles.

A COA is a document from an accredited third-party laboratory showing the exact cannabinoid and terpene composition of a batch. It also confirms the absence of pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. We provide COAs for every product.

All COAs are available on our Lab Results page. They're organized by product and batch. If you can't find your specific batch, contact us and we'll send it directly.

Every batch is independently tested before it goes on sale. We don't release a product without a clean COA. We partner with ISO-accredited labs for consistency.

Orders are processed within 24–48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays (orders placed after 12:00 PM CST on Friday or over the weekend begin processing the next business day). Once shipped, delivery typically takes 3–8 business days depending on your location. Available shipping options are shown at checkout.

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no brand markings or contents listed on the exterior. Return address shows a neutral name.

No. Due to state regulations we cannot ship any products to Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont. THCa flower also cannot ship to 18 additional states, where some other products may still be available. See the full list on our Shipping page — your state is also checked at checkout.

If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can usually update the address — contact us right away with your order number and the correct address. Once an order has shipped, the address can't be changed.

All sales are final. If you purchased directly from strainsnotnames.com and there is a problem with your order, you may be eligible for a refund if you contact us within 10 days of delivery. Damaged or missing items must be reported on the day of delivery. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Congress amended the federal definition of hemp in November 2025 (Public Law 119-37). Under the new definition, hemp is measured by total THC including THCa, and finished hemp-derived products with more than 0.4 mg total THC per container fall outside it. The effective date was moved from November 12 to December 11, 2026 by H.R. 6500, signed on September 2, 2026. Our storefront follows the current effective date, December 11, 2026. Yes. Until December 11, 2026, orders ship as normal to states where the product is permitted under state law. From December 11, 2026, THCa flower, vapes and concentrates will no longer be available to order.

THCa flower, THCa vapes, hash and concentrates are all captured: the new definition counts THCa toward total THC, and the per-container cap is far below what these products contain. Accessories contain no cannabinoids and are not affected.
