A grinder with a sharp, even cut and a kief catcher; unbleached rolling papers or cones; an airtight glass jar kept out of direct light; and, for cartridges, a variable-voltage 510-thread battery so you can run oil at a lower temperature. Humidity packs help keep flower from drying out between sessions.

Clean your gear regularly. Resin build-up in a grinder or pipe dulls flavour, and a dirty 510 connection is the most common reason a cartridge stops firing. Isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab handle most of it.

Terpenes are volatile and THCa degrades with heat and light. Store flower in an airtight container at a cool room temperature, away from sunlight, and avoid the fridge — humidity swings damage trichomes. Pair your kit with DNA-verified THCa flower or a vape.

Accessories contain no cannabinoids and are not affected by the federal hemp rule taking effect on December 11, 2026.

Check the thread before you buy: most cartridges use the standard 510 thread, but some disposables and pod systems are proprietary and only work with their own hardware. A battery with a preheat setting helps with thick oils, and a lower voltage setting generally gives better flavour than a higher one.
